To Discriminate Only Creates Hate

after the Black Eyed Peas

The pain of hearing only wrong

The pain of being mocked every single time

The pain of being the only group not free from hatred

The pain of being left out

The pain of being shouted at everything you have done

The pain of being forced to be someone you are not

to discriminate only generates hate

The sadness of being an outsider

The sadness of being bullied by your race or skin color

The sadness of being tormented and being the odd one

The sadness of being peer pressured to do dares that are too extreme

The sadness of feeling the bone-chilling cries of help as they are being hurt

The sadness of hearing pure hatred and discrimination

The sadness of seeing people separated by a wall

The sadness of being yelled at for 24 hours how they are different.

to discriminate only generates hate

The hope of seeing others bond with each other

The hope of hearing cries of laughter

The hope of feeling the warmth of happiness

The hope of a better future

The hope of seeing everybody accepted for who they really are

The hope of achieving equality

The hope of peace

Corgi

When I found out my Uncle was getting married, I thought about his corgi.

His favorite pet, he named him Nikon the Corgi.

In almost all of his life's milestones, his dog was a big part of them.

So his wedding announcement had a picture of him, his future wife, and his corgi.

They have been talking about starting a family soon.

New wife, new kids, all these together with his corgi.

But when they started to plan their honeymoon,

Hand in hand they are so in love, they almost forgot the corgi.

When we had dinner, they seemed to be a never-ending fountain of love and joy.

But where was his beloved corgi?

When we were at my house, we all had fun playing Catan.

All day I shared about my adventures with my pet turtle, but he never spoke about his

corgi.

My uncle's mom is one of my favorite grandmas.

Unfortunately, she doesn't like his corgi.

I think she is a bit sad because her only son is getting married.

She will surely miss him, but not his corgi.

Is this a good opportunity to get to know his pet?

The new couple plan to travel around, maybe his mom can bond with the corgi.

I wish my uncle well, and that he will have a great life with his wife.

I think my grandma will also have a new partner, Nikon the Corgi.
