I'll Do Whatever it Takes

Nobody here next to me, pulling me along,

As I hang out with strangers,

So unfamiliar, so strange.

I walk here alone with nobody here talking to me

About news and the latest baseball

Oh well, I have other friends

I'll do whatever it takes.

No more competing

In home run derbies after homework

No more three-point shootouts or

One-on-one unless I play

With my little brother, it's not the same

Like I said, it feels so strange,

With no one here to talk to

As I do homework in my office

I'll do whatever it takes.

School will feel so empty, in class without

My friend there with me in class

Even though we can still see each other

Outside of school, at parties and things

We will still keep in touch although

My friend is moving to a different school

I'll do whatever it takes.

What does my owner think he is doing? Using me, a helpless little gun, to kill other humans! People these days, killing other people is not always the answer to your problems, why don't we just talk everything out, like in the good old days?

Why are the people so scared? I am trying to see out of my cabinet's glass wall, trying to find out what they are so doggone scared about, but they are blocking my view! If they would let me look for a change I would know.

My owner, the wearer of my gossamer soul, looking raw on the smooth tile floor. The others around me look rigid and pale in the moonlight. As they fuss over my owner, not once do they look down to see how her dress is.

Okay, a costume party was a great idea, guys, but would you three please take off the flash costumes? I feel like I got cloned, and for me, that wouldn't be good. You guys need to have respect for your leader!

My rider, not knowing what they're doing and taking me for a spin around the CITY. my jagged claws tear through the park, ripping up bushes and trees as we chase what's-his-face EVERYWHERE. My barbed teeth need something to chew on and I am hangry.

Chad, my fiery orange nose doesn't go well with my powdery white coat. Well, Bill, you monster of a driver, if we (you) didn't crash into that tree, I would be more in the mood to talk right now. Don't be such a wet blanket, Chad, at least we didn't land in a puddle.

This ugly mask I'm holding does not go well with my lovely dress. This ugly thing is nothing like my perfect, unblemished face. My dress is so immaculate it will draw your attention away from this horrid thing in my hands.
